My Journey to Online Ministry

When the pandemic struck, I found myself at a crossroads in my ministry. Like many spiritual leaders, I was searching for direction during an unprecedented time of separation and uncertainty. It was my wife who provided that pivotal spark of inspiration: "Why not share your gift of hymns online?"

I had a dormant Facebook page where I occasionally played hymns, but it had never been a central focus of my calling. Little did I know that those first tentative broadcasts would blossom into a divine appointment—God was redirecting my path toward a new kind of ministry altogether.

This unexpected journey has drawn upon every facet of my experience: musician, producer, singer, songwriter, arranger, preacher, and teacher. Each skill found its purpose as I navigated this new digital landscape.

Along the way, I discovered the critical importance of effective online marketing in connecting with the audience God intended for this ministry. Through intentional community building, strategic digital presence, and above all, God's abundant grace, "Hymns With Phillip Carter" has grown beyond anything I could have imagined.

Now, I'm blessed with the opportunity to share what I've learned—helping others build effective online ministries that reach hearts and change lives, regardless of physical distance. This masterclass represents the culmination of that learning journey, offered in service to those whom God is similarly calling to expand His kingdom in digital spaces.
